With bands of color that formed through years of erosion of the desert mountains, geological marvel is an out-of-this-world experience that must be seen to be believed. Coupled with the equally mesmerizing stonelike formations of ancient trees and fossilized. Large stretches of mountain look as though a watercolor brush was stroked across the sides, creating a visually stunning effect unlike anywhere else in the U.S.
